Meet Dean

Hello Post 4 Neighbor,

My name is Dean Schneider, and I'm asking for your vote.

My family and I moved into Paulding Post 4 in 2005.

I'm not a developer. I'm not a builder. I'm a small business owner. I love our community, which has been more than good to me, my family, and my friends. But it's changing-fast! When my kids were in school, we could leave the house and get to school in 10 minutes. That's not possible today.

Development can be good. We all enjoy new local restaurants and shops. But neighborhoods are going up faster than we can count. Our roads are inadequate. Traffic is terrible. Our schools and social services can't keep up. And guess what? More developments have already been approved. The problem will only get worse.

I'm willing to say "no" to a developer. I'm willing to say "not now" to a builder. l've never run for office before, and I have no desire to run for higher office. I have no hidden agenda. This is about protecting our community.

I believe in low taxes, local control, and transparent government. I believe in supporting those who support us (teachers, law enforcement, fire fighters, EMS, etc.). I believe that elected officials work for us.
